You can Landscape your Own Garden, and Save on Expenses, Too!

by at Saturday, February 23, 2008 in Arts & Entertainment,Home

Any homeowner can landscape their own garden, in order to have beautiful outdoor scenery without having to spend chunks of money. Landscaping services from professional landscapers can be quite costly although those who can afford to do so, or those who are planning a more complex design can hire a garden artist or landscaper for their outdoor garden. If you have an eye for imagination however, and are a natural green thumb with plants and flowers, you can landscape your own garden and give an even more personalized theme to it.

The first thing that must be taken into consideration when you want to landscape an empty garden lot is to stretch your imagination by getting hold of ideas and sources as much as you can. Search the internet for possible garden ideas, or browse through lifestyle magazines on the latest in home gardening. The more pictures you view and the greater the amount of information you are able to gain, the easier you will have an idea on what your own garden will look like. You can also visit other people’s gardens and see what ideas you can apply to your own. Make certain however to add a personalized taste to it so as to avoid copying an entire garden design.

So, you are a huge Disney fan, and have decided that you want to try and draw one of the Disney characters yourself. There are plenty of books that are available  on the subject, but for now please feel free to use this handy  guide until you are able to get one of those books for yourself.

First thing you should do when you want to draw a Disney character is to gather the tools that you will need.  You will need paper, a pencil, an eraser, a colored pencil and a marker.  Next, you will want to choose a Disney character to draw.  If this is your first time drawing a Disney character, it’s a good idea to start with someone simple.  Mickey Mouse and Mine Mouse are both very easy to draw and good starter characters.

When you have chosen which character you are going to draw, it’s a good idea to have a copy of the character right in front of you for reference. Even if you are a huge Disney fan, small details are sometimes hard to remember and could be missed even by the most avid fans. So keep a copy of the character in your line of sight and get ready to draw!
