Connie Culp, the 46-year-old Ohio woman, is the world’s first person who went through a face transplant. The face of the nation’s first face transplant recipient horribly disfigured in a shotgun blasted by her husband, who later turned the gun towards himself. This blast ruptured her nose, cheeks, her mouth and an eye leaving her upper eyelids, forehead, lower lip and chin. Upon calling herself a monster by a little kid, she decided to represent herself in a complete new look.

A report on The Wall Street Journal’s web site tells that Google is considering again developing a venture capital arm.
The people who were told about the discussion explained that David Drummond, Google’s senior vice president, would lead the effort .According to the reports, 33-years-old William Maris who is a former entrepreneur has been hired by the group for this purpose.
The search engine has considered that idea before but couldn’t work on that plan.
If this new venture succeeds, it would put Google in the more-official role of supporting commencement off the ground as Google well-known for buying companies instead of investing in them. Intel, Hewlett-Packard and Motorola are some other Silicon Valley companies that have extensive VC track records.

WASHINGTON: President Bush here on Monday said that there is no quick fix for rising gas prices. He said that he is troubled by the rise in gas prices in the US. He also mentioned that he will consider the proposals in minimizing gas prices.

Filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi has set her eyes on making fiction movie which will be based on the documentary she filmed for HBO by the name “Journeys with George”. Avid HBO viewers will remember that this documentary followed President George W. Bush’s presidential campaign of 2000.
The film, which is not yet titled, centers around a young, very impressionable news story producer, finding herself starting to deal with the huge challenges of professional life and personal love in the middle of covering and reporting on a much publicized presidential campaign.
Oscar-winner screenwriter, Mr.Steven Zaillian is producing the film. Zillian said that the tone of the movie “The Devil Wears Prada” seemed quite apparent in the documentary and he encouraged Alexandra Pelosi to use and film her experiences to give a stunningly beautiful screenplay for the movie. The project is also one which will mark Alexandra Pelosi’s debut as a screenwriter.
