Israeli firm SolarEdge is going to introduce some new electronics that will prove quite effective to put out different defects and in-efficiencies from the solar panels and make them a lot more product and efficient.
The firm is going to provide the details of this new plan in Intersolar 2009 conference in Munich. The company has also announced that German solar installer Gehrlicher is going to offer the new products of the SolarEdge.
The company has been putting tremendous efforts to address different problems that are common in solar power systems including production of electricity, partial shading and converting direct current. The company was founded in 06 and since than it has raised nearly $35m.
Guy Sella, the CEO and founder of SolarEdge says that solar array’s productions can loss 20 to 30 percent because of the problems related to wiring and electricity loss.
Right now a junction box has been created by the company that will be fitted in these solar panels with the help of an integrated circuit to fix the coming high and low voltages to the panels . According to Sell, these problems can be eliminated and also cut down the degradations because of the variation in panels’ performance.
The junction box will work together with the company’s inverter for the optimization of direct current conversion for current alteration. Data on temperature and every panel’s output level is also gathered on the inverter.
