The Snap: HTC Uncovers Windows Phone

Windows Mobile 6.1HTC has just uncovered its 12mm thick Snap that carries Windows Mobile 6.1and serves as a nice option for those who remain overflowed with emails. It has been designed with usual upright format, but unlike HTC previous releases, this time a full QWERTY keyboard has also been placed.

According to HTC, people, who were not on some smartphone before, will find the Snap quite friendly in daily use with its Windows Mobile 6.1 that might turn into 6.5 in the later part of this year.

Android G1 is due in next two weeks

T-Mobile’s G1 that will first show off much awaited Android OS will be available in the UK in next two weeks (most probably from 30 October).

Only in UK, there are more than 25,000 per-orders for the G1 and some analysts predicts that that demand for the handset will exceed a lot in other parts of the world as well.

According to some estimates, more than 600,000 T-Mobile G1 handsets that have been manufactured by HTC will be sold till the end of this year and it will outshine the level of demands for the first Apple iPhone.
