After a suspected spam attack, thousands of Virgin customers had to spend four days with cut off or little access to their e-mail accounts.
The company, which processes messages that are delivered through the Virgin.net platform, was quite affected by the problem.
According to a Virgin Media spokesperson, all legitimate e-mails were stopped when the attack began on Tuesday evening to remove all the spam.
“But now emails are being delivered as the fault has been cleared,” he added.
Virgin.net service has nearly 200,000 users and almost half of them were affected by the problem, the company said. Click here to read more »
