Virgin America is now doing some of the greatest offers for free and one of this is their introduction to Wi-Fi. Their very 1st airline offer is all about services to be sent through wireless path to Google. This is a complimentary service being offered through several business flights.

The price of connections put by other companies like British Airways have not been free so far. Huge charges have been given with these along with the airline food services. Virgin has decided to bring some of the greatest paid trend to be offered with free Wi-Fi through several Virgin planes. It is certainly a great way for passengers to stay connected.

The Snap: HTC Uncovers Windows Phone

Windows Mobile 6.1HTC has just uncovered its 12mm thick Snap that carries Windows Mobile 6.1and serves as a nice option for those who remain overflowed with emails. It has been designed with usual upright format, but unlike HTC previous releases, this time a full QWERTY keyboard has also been placed.

According to HTC, people, who were not on some smartphone before, will find the Snap quite friendly in daily use with its Windows Mobile 6.1 that might turn into 6.5 in the later part of this year.

Under $1,000 Laptops Perform Better With Linux, Not Vista

There is good news and a bad news for everyone who is looking for better laptop options. The good news is that you can get a good, solid laptop for under $1,000 these days. The bad news for ‘Vista’ users is that majority of these cheap laptops coming with ‘Vista’ do not have sufficient resource base to run ‘Vista’ decently.

Merrill Lynch predicted that “2007 would be the year that notebooks overtook desktops”. For some companies, like ‘Hewlett-Packard’, laptops have become the single most important revenue source.

There are two reasons associated closely with each other. Firstly, a PC vendor can make more profit on an under-$1,000 laptop than it would on a PC at the same cost. Secondly, with the availability of Wi-Fi almost everywhere and laptop prices falling below the magic $1,000 mark, more and more customers and businesses are shifting to laptops.
